JUSTICE FOR JONE
July 6, 20080
The family and
friends of Jone Knapton have waited a long five years for justice.
Police share their frustration but know they may be just one phone call
away from placing the final piece of the puzzle together. Jone went
missing around the fourth of July 2003. Her body was found days later.
Despite the $40,000 award fund generated by family and friends, the
largest award we have ever offered, tips have slowed. We ask as you
gather this Fourth of July that you please remember Jone and encourage
anyone who may have any recollection, however slight, about the murder
to call our tip line 309-762-9500.

HELP KEEP YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD SAFE!
April 27, 2008
Spring is here!
The warmer weather brings trees to bud and flowers to bloom.
Unfortunately, the nicer weather will find police dealing with the
stupid and the dangerous. Some may even be wandering in or near your
neighborhood. We encourage everyone to start a neighborhood watch this
week. Call your local police department and learn how easy it is to
formally have your group recognized. The time to start a watch group is
now! Don’t wait until after an incident has happened. Talk to your
neighbors, watch out for your neighbors, and above all else call your
police department if you see anything out of the ordinary. Sometimes a
license plate or vehicle description can make all the difference in the
world. If a group of young men are starting to gather in the street call
us! Don’t wait until shots are fired and everyone is on the run. To
report crime anonymously for cash call our tip line 309-762-9500.
