On June 1, 2022, Rock Island Police took a report of a new credit card being stolen out of the victim’s mailbox. The suspect used the card at the Gas and Electric Credit Union. EAST MOLINE POLICE SEEKING INFO ON SHOOTING 2022-002080
May 27, 2022

On May 14, 2022 at 3:02 a.m., Officers with the East Moline Police Department were in the area 13th Street and 13th Avenue to clear the area of people after tavern closings. While Officers were out on foot, they heard multiple gunshots in the area. An injured subject was soon located in front of the Top Shelf Lounge (1327 13th Avenue) who suffered a gunshot wound to the chest. When an Officer approached this subject, the subject was observed to be armed with a handgun in their hand. Officers secured this subject along with the handgun, and immediately began providing medical treatment for the injuries. This subject was then transported by ambulance to Genesis Illini Campus for treatment and then transferred to University of Iowa City Hospital. Officers processed the crime scene and recovered multiple shell casings of different calibers. INFORMATION SOUGHT ON THE KILLING OF MILO THE CAT - 2022-003799

SUSPECTS SCAM CASHIER AT WALMART - 2022-003521

DESIGNER FRAMES STOLEN FROM LENSCRAFTERS - 2022-001463

On February 5th 2022, this female was involved in a felony shoplifting at Lenscrafters, located at Southpark Mall in Moline. The female was wearing a black coat and a black hat.  She concealed one pair of Burberry brand glasses frames (valued at $299) in her coat sleeve. She then selected an Emporia Armani brand frame (valued at $158) and exited the store without paying for both frames. The female suspect was with a second person who was wearing a grey sweatshirt. LA RANCHARITA BROKEN INTO - 2022-000713

On January 21st, 2022, a burglary was reported at La Rancharita, located at 2139 16th Street in Moline.  The offender tried to break into an ATM located inside the business using a drill before leaving with a black Harbinger stereo speaker along with a red dolly. Surveillance footage shows the offender to be a male who was seen riding around the business on a bicycle.  He was wearing a dark blue hooded jacket and wearing one red and one black glove. CATALYTIC CONVERTER THEFT IN DAVENPORT - 2022-009302

On February 12, 2022,  a suspect described as a black male, approximately 6' tall, pulled into the lot at 3205 W 76th St., Davenport, in the pictured car and was seen scouting the vehicles parked there. He came back later that night at around midnight and stole the catalytic converter off a box truck.  The suspect’s vehicle is possibly a Kia. FAKE 100 DOLLAR BILLS PASSED IN MOLINE - 2022-001194

On January 29th, these two suspects bought a Nintendo Switch at Walmart in Moline with four fake $100 bills. The male has short black dreaded hair, and was wearing a white mask, black jacket with leather sleeves, white undershirt and black jeans. The female has long black braided hair, and was wearing a green winter coat, black jeans and a white mask. They were driving a blue sedan which appears to be a Hyundai Elantra. EAST MOLINE POLICE SEEKING INFORMATION ABOUT DECEMBER SHOOTING INCIDENT - 2021-004471

On December 12, 2021, East Moline Police responded to a drive-by shooting.  The incident began with a fight at Jim’s Domino Lounge. The two groups involved in the fight left the bar in their vehicles.  Shots were then fired in the area of the 1300 block of 10th Avenue. Fifteen shell casings were recovered. The pictured 2007-2014 GMC Yukon was involved in the shooting incident. The photograph shows the Yukon has distinct black fender flares and the driver rear fender flare is broken.  It also has rear bumper damage sustained when the second vehicle rear-ended it. MOLINE BUSINESS ROBBED TWICE - 2021-012215/2022-000574
January 21, 2022

On December 10th, 2021, at about 8:15 pm, Moline Police responded to an Armed Robbery at Faabu Beauty Supply, 3106 Avenue of the Cities.  Two males forced their way into the business. The victims were held at gunpoint for several minutes while the suspects took cash and placed it into plastic shopping bags. The suspects left out the back door and fled in dark colored Ford sedan. The suspects were described as male blacks wearing gloves and masks.  One was 6"04" with a thin build and the other was shorter with a medium build.  

Faabu Beauty Supply was robbed again on January 17, 2022 at the same time as the first one, 8:15 pm. This time there were four male suspects who were all wearing masks and gloves. One of the offenders struck a victim with a handgun and pointed it at them. The offenders took cash from the business. The offenders all left in a silver vehicle, possibly a 2006-2013 Chevrolet Impala or Malibu. Three of the suspects were wearing all black clothing and were described as mixed race or caucasian. The other suspect was wearing a lighter colored hoodie and was between 5"10-6" tall, also mixed race or caucasian. The male with the handgun was described as wearing all black and was around 5'10" tall.

BUSINESS BURGLARIZED IN EAST MOLINE (2021-004337)

On November 28, 2021, at around 11:00 AM,  East Moline Police officers were dispatched to a business in the 600 block of 7th Street for a burglary.  The suspect cut through the siding to enter a garage bay and then picked a lock to enter another bay. The building and multiple vehicles outside the business were burglarized and numerous Dewalt and Milwaukee tools and accessories were stolen.  The suspect is described as Caucasian, wearing a brown stocking cap, black mask, all black clothing, gloves and black boots.
