On December 8, 2021, Davenport Police took a report that unknown suspects stole a The Banks brand Outdoor Stump Deer Blind worth $3,000 from Theisen’s, 3808 N Brady Street. BUSINESS BURGLARIZED IN EAST MOLINE (2021-004337)

On November 28, 2021, at around 11:00 AM,  East Moline Police officers were dispatched to a business in the 600 block of 7th Street for a burglary.  The suspect cut through the siding to enter a garage bay and then picked a lock to enter another bay. The building and multiple vehicles outside the business were burglarized and numerous Dewalt and Milwaukee tools and accessories were stolen.  The suspect is described as Caucasian, wearing a brown stocking cap, black mask, all black clothing, gloves and black boots. RASH OF TRAILER THEFTS IN EAST MOLINE

East Moline Police have taken reports of four separate trailer thefts in the past two months. The trailers stolen are a black 2020 Teske 8x4 trailer with wooden sides; a black homemade utility trailer, a black 2016 4x6 utility trailer and a 15 foot 2017 Load Trail dump trailer. Investigators are seeking any information related to these thefts. OYO HOTEL ROBBED - 2021-011380

On November 18, 2021 at 2:52 AM, an armed robbery occurred at OYO Hotel in Moline. The suspect was wearing a dark hooded jacket and dark clothing.  It is believed the suspect was wearing a long, dark-colored wig.  He demanded money from the cashier at gun point and threatened to kill him if he didn’t comply. SUSPECT FLASHES GUN IN EAST MOLINE NEIGHBORHOOD - 2021-004060

On November 1, 2021, East Moline Police were called to the 700 block of 26th Street for a subject with a gun. The suspect lifted his shirt exposing a gun in his waistband in order to intimidate a resident in the area. On October 12, 2021 at 10:00 AM, the Rock Island County Sheriff's Office received a report of an armed robbery at Big 10 Mart, 2301 John Deere Road in Carbon Cliff. Preliminary information indicates that the suspect entered the business, demanded money from the clerk while displaying a firearm. The suspect fled the business after obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash. THIEF STEALING GENERATORS - 2021-008581

Since last May, this suspect has been entering various stores in the area and stealing generators and other merchandise. The suspect committed generator thefts twice at Menards in Moline. He has also made fraudulent returns of merchandise. BLACKHAWK TOBACCO BURGLARIZED - 2021-008854

MERCER COUNTY CRIME STOPPERS JOINS IN EFFORT TO LOCATE DARVION LARD - 2021-012016

COAL VALLEY ATTEMPTED MURDER STILL UNSOLVED - 2020-000246
March 19, 2021

One year ago, on March 11, 2020 at approximately 10:00 PM, an unknown suspect approached the front door of a home in the 1900 block of 1st Street, Coal Valley and knocked to make contact with the resident.  When the occupant of the residence answered the door, the unknown suspect shot the resident in the chest.  The victim described the suspect as a Hispanic or white male approximately 5’7”-5’10” tall with a slim build, dressed in a dark stocking cap, blue bandana covering his face from his eyes down, gray hooded sweatshirt with a lime green or yellow safety type vest over the sweatshirt and blue jeans.  The suspect is believed to have fled the area in a waiting vehicle, identified as a red or maroon late 2000 Nissan Altima, with at least one other occupant.  The Nissan fled the area southbound on 1st Street and then westbound on US Route 150.  Ballistic information has also been obtained.  At this time the Coal Valley Police Department continues to follow-up on all leads that continue to be generated.  Any person with information on this crime, please contact Crime Stoppers of the Quad Cities at 309-762-9500 or use our mobile app P3 Tips.  You will remain anonymous and you could earn a cash reward.
